Description
The project is being developed by Chevron Nigeria. Nigerian National Petroleum and Chevron are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60% and 40% respectively.
It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The fuel will be procured from NGC Escravos Lagos Pipeline System.
The project cost is expected to be around $750m.
