Top five power companies in the US’s IT recruitment activity in December 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 10.52% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s power industry during December 2021 over November 2021.

NextEra Energy posted 269 IT jobs in December 2021 and registered a rise of 31.22% over the previous month, followed by Duquesne Light with 100 jobs and a 5.26% growth. Siemens with 84 IT jobs and Schneider Electric with 56 jobs, recorded a 6.33% flat growth and a 32.53% decrease, respectively, while Exelon recorded an increase of 14.29% with 48 job postings during December 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in December 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 52.18%, up by 1.11% from November 2021. Mid Level positions with a 29.26% share, registered a decline of 27.3% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 18.13% share, down 8.3% over November 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.43%, recording a month-on-month increase of 50%.
