Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 10.17% share in November 2022, recording a decrease of 0.01% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 6.56% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s power industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
National Grid posted 16 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a drop of 55.56% over the previous month, followed by Siemens with 13 jobs and an 8.33% growth. Iberdrola with 11 IT jobs and Elektro Eletricidade E Servicos with 11 jobs, recorded a 175% growth and a 175% growth, respectively, while Centrica recorded an increase of 20% with 6 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.97%, down by 36.54% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 19.35% share, registered a decline of 21.74% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 7.53% share, down 68.18% over October 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 2.15%, recording a month-on-month increase of 100%.
