The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 0.91% in December 2021 when compared with November 2021.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Schneider Electric IT hiring in December 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Schneider Electric, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 61.59% in December 2021, and a 26.72% drop over November 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 13.04% in December 2021, and registered growth of 28.57%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 12.32% in December 2021, a 21.43% rise from November 2021.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in December 2021 with a 48.55% share, which marked a flat growth over the previous month.
North America stood next with 40.58%, registering a 33.33% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 7.25% share and a 16.67% drop over November 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 2.9% and a month-on-month increase of 300%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.72%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 42.75% share in December 2021, a 1.67% decline over November 2021. US featured next with a 40.58% share, down 32.53% over the previous month. France recorded a 4.35% share, an increase of 20% compared with November 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Schneider Electric IT hiring activity in December 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.77%, down by 14.56% from November 2021. Mid Level positions with a 21.01% share, a decline of 35.56% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 15.22% share, up 31.25% over November 2021.
