The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 4.39% in December 2021 when compared with November 2021.
Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 20.98% share in December 2021, recording a decrease of 1.25% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Portugal’s power industry during December 2021 over November 2021.
Vestas Wind Systems posted 21 IT jobs in December 2021 and registered a rise of 31.25% over the previous month, followed by Nordex with 3 jobs and a flat growth. Siemens with 3 IT jobs and Energias de Portugal with 2 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 60% decrease.
Junior Level job postings dominate in December 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.41%, down by 4.55% from November 2021. Entry Level positions with a 17.24% share, registered an increase of 25% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 10.34% share, flat growth over November 2021.
