The industry’s overall hiring increased by 0.13% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 27.12% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s power industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
Umicore posted 17 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a rise of 1600% over the previous month, followed by Siemens with 13 jobs and a 43.48% drop. China Resources Power Holdings with 10 IT jobs and Schneider Electric with 2 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Kehua Data recorded a decline of 96.97% with 1 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 52.27%, down by 55.77% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with a 38.64% share, registered an increase of 142.86% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 9.09% share, down 20% over September 2022.
