The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 14.04% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.
Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 13.21% share in September 2021, recording a decrease of 3.32% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 25.43% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Brazil’s power industry during September 2021 over August 2021.
Companhia de Transmissao de Energia Eletrica Paulista posted 159 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a drop of 18.04% over the previous month, followed by Energisa with 7 jobs and a 66.67% drop. Iberdrola with 5 IT jobs and Senvion with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Enel recorded a decline of 91.67% with 1 job postings during September 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 80%, down by 18.6% from August 2021. Entry Level positions with a 14.29% share, registered a decline of 37.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 5.71% share, down 54.55% over August 2021.
