Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 18.34% share in November 2021, recording an increase of 0.12% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 20.9% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Brazil’s power industry during November 2021 over October 2021.
Companhia de Transmissao de Energia Eletrica Paulista posted 316 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a drop of 18.77% over the previous month, followed by Energisa with 10 jobs and a 41.18% drop. Iberdrola with 5 IT jobs and Vestas Wind Systems with 1 jobs, recorded a 25% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Enel recorded a decline of 90% with 1 job postings during November 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 79.94%, down by 17.59% from October 2021. Entry Level positions with a 15.57% share, registered a decline of 25.71% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 4.49% share, down 58.33% over October 2021.
