Description

The project was developed by Tilt Renewables and is currently owned by Mercury NZ.

The project generates 433GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 65,000 households, offsetting 250,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 31 units of SWT130 – 4.3MW turbines, each with 4.3MW nameplate capacity.
