Description

The project was developed by Enel Green Power Mexico S de RL de CV. Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, CKD Infraestructura Mexico and Enel Green Power Mexico S de RL de CV are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40.8%, 39.2% and 20% respectively.

Villanueva 3 Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 1,038.39 hectares.

The project generates 738GWh electricity thereby offsetting 335,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project got commissioned in March 2018.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Comision Federal de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years.

Contractors involved

Enel Green Power Mexico S de RL de CV was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

JinkoSolar Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 1,021,140 modules each with 320W of nameplate capacity.

FIMER supplied its R 11015 TL inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by NEXTracker.

Solarig Global Service is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
