The project is co-owned by Marubeni and UNIT Elektrik Toptan Satis Ithalat Ihracat, with their respective ownership stake of 33% each.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from BOTAS.
The project generated 3,600,000MWh of electricity.
