UITM Gambang Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 110 hectares.
The project generates 80,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 22,000 households.

Development status

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Tenaga Nasional under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.09kWh for a period of 21 years, starting from 2019. The contracted capacity is 50MW.
