Description

The project was developed by TP Kirnali Solar and is currently owned by Tata Power Renewable Energy with a stake of 100%.

TP Kirnali Partur Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 600 acres.

The project generates 240,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 240,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.04kWh for a period of 25 years, starting from 2022. The contracted capacity is 100MW.
