Description

The project was developed by Poyry Energy and is currently owned by Oy Alholmens Kraft with a stake of 100%.

The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Wood waste which is a kind of wood by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Electrowatt-Ekono was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the biopower project.

Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company supplied Three-casing extraction condensing turbine model turbines for the project.

Kvaerner Pulping supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 698.4TPH. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 545°C. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 165bar.VA Tech Elin EBG supplied the electric generator for the project.
