The project is developed and owned by Sembcorp Solar Singapore.

Tengeh Reservoir Solar PV Park is a floating solar project which is spread over an area of 45 hectares.

The project generates 77,300MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 12,500 households, offsetting 577,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project construction commenced in 2020 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in July 2021.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Public Utilities Board under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.

Contractors involved

Shanxi Electric Power Engineering was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Trina Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 12,556 modules at the site.
