The project is being developed by Canadian Solar Energy Mexico. Canadian Solar, Korea Electric Power and Sprott Global Renewable III are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51%, 24.5% and 24.5% respectively.

Tastiota Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 483 hectares.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Comision Federal de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement. The power will be sold at the rate of $0.021kWh for a period of 15 years. The capacity to be procured is 100MW.
