Description
The project is being developed by Cypark Smart Technology Sdn, Hitachi Zosen and KNM Process Systems Sdn. The project is currently owned by Cypark Smart Technology Sdn.
The process of combustion will be adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Municipal solid waste will be used as a feedstock to power the project.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2014. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Tenaga Nasional under a power purchase agreement.
