Description

The project was developed by Agder Energi, Dalane energi IKS, Lyse Produksjon and Norsk Vind Energi. The project is currently owned by Luxcara with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 270GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 17,000 households.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Meta Platforms under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years from 2019. The contracted capacity is 75.6MW.

Contractors involved

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 18 units of SWT-DD-130 turbines, each with 4.2MW nameplate capacity.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2019, for a period of 25 years.
