Description
The project was developed by Al Shuqaiq Water and Electricity. Aljomaih Energy & Water, The Saudi Public Investment Fund, Gulf Investment, Arab Petroleum Investments and Saudi Electricity are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 32%, 32%, 20%, 8% and 8% respectively.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant that is used for Baseload. The fuel is procured from Saudi Aramco.
