Description
The project was developed by Prevailing Wind Park. Hannon Armstrong Sustainable Infrastructure Capital, Alberta Investment Management and The AES are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 49%, 25.5% and 25.5% respectively.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 90,000 households, offsetting 486,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The Tubular Steel towers installed at the project site are 111.557m high.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in March 2020.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Basin Electric Power Coop under a power purchase agreement for a period of 30 years.
Contractors involved
GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 61 units of GE 3.8-137 turbines.
