Description
The project is developed and owned by Port Dickson Power.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant that is used for Peakload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel Light Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Petronas.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Tenaga Nasional under a power purchase agreement for a period of 24 years.
Contractors involved
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 4 units of 9E gas turbines, each with 110MW nameplate capacity.
Sime Darby Energy Sdn is the O&M contractor for thermal power project.
