Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by BlueFloat Energy, Eni Plenitude and SENER Grupo de Ingenieria. The owners have 33.33% stake in the project respectively.
The project is expected to generate 4,000,000MWh electricity to offset 21,000,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project will be spread over an area of 166km². The turbines will be mounted on floating type foundations.
