Description

The project is developed and owned by Taaleri Energia.

The project generates 290,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 35,000 households, offsetting 88,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Oulun Energia Sahkoverkko under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 30.4MW.

Contractors involved

Nordex was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 19 units of N149/4.0-4.5 turbines, each with 4.8MW nameplate capacity.

Nordex is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 25 years.
