Description
The project is developed and owned by Upper Egypt Electricity Production. The company has a stake of 100%.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is heavy fuel oil/light fuel oil. In case of shortage of heavy fuel oil/light fuel oil the plant can also run on Natural Gas.
