Description
The project is developed and owned by Mukah Power Generation Sdn. The company has a stake of 100%.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is coal. In case of shortage of coal the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Mukah-Balingian Coal Field, Sarawak Coal Resources Sdn Bhd.
The Coal fired project consists of 2 steam turbines, each with 135MW nameplate capacity.
