Description
The project was developed by Marafiq. The project is co-owned by Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Saudi Arabian Oil, Saudi Basic Industries and The Saudi Public Investment Fund, with their respective ownership stake of 24.81% each.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is heavy fuel oil. In case of shortage of heavy fuel oil the plant can also run on Arabian Light Crude Oil.
