The project was developed by Luminous Energy and is currently owned by Hana Financial Investment with a stake of 100%.

Luminous Energy Queensland Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 540 hectares.

The project generates 440,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 100,000 households, offsetting 5,180t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project consists of 410,000 modules.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2020 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in January 2022.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to CS Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 10 years. The contracted capacity is 162MW.

Sterling and Wilson Solar Australia was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Korea Electric Power and Sterling and Wilson Solar Australia were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
