MidAmerican Energy, Central Iowa Power Cooperative, Alliant Energy, Waverly Municipal Electric Utility, City of Geneseo and Eldridge City Utilities are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 88%, 4.6%, 4%, 1.1%, 0.5% and 0.5% respectively.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The fuel is procured from Wyoming Coal Mine, Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America (NGPL).

The project generated 4,481,067MWh of electricity.
