Description

The project was developed by Innogy, Overland Sun Farming and RWE. The project is currently owned by RWE with a stake of 100%.

Limondale Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 900 hectares.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 105,000 households.

Contractors involved

BELECTRIC Australia was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

SunPower was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 872,000 modules each with 400W of nameplate capacity.

SMA Solar Technology supplied 114 of its Sunny Central 2750-EV inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising horizontal single axis trackers supplied by IdeemaTec Deutschland.

BELECTRIC is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
