Description

The project was developed by Novasol Invest La Isla. Ardian Infrastructure, Jinko Solar and White Summit Capital are currently owning the project.

La Isla Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 520 hectares.

The project generates 400GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 100,000 households, offsetting 140,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project consists of 536,790 modules, each with 340W nameplate capacity.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2019 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in February 2020.

Contractors involved

Prodiel Proyectos de Instalaciones Electricas was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Sungrow Power Supply supplied 63 inverters to the project site.
