Description

The project was developed by ENGIE Fabricom and is currently owned by Limburgse Reconversie Maatschappij.

Kristal Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 93 hectares.

The project generates 85,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 25,000 households, offsetting 30,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2018 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in June 2019.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Nyrstar under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.093kWh for a period of 15 years, starting from 2019. The contracted capacity is 99.5MW.

ENGIE Fabricom was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Talesun Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company supplied modules with rated capacity of 325W.
