Description

The project is being developed by Acwa Power Azerbaijan Renewable Energy and is currently owned by Acwa Power with a stake of 100%.

The project is expected to generate 1,000,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 300,000 households. The project is expected to offset 400,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Contractors involved

Envision Energy will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 37 units of EN 171-6.5 MW turbines, each with 6.5MW nameplate capacity.

The First National Operation & Maintenance is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project.
