Description

The project generates 210GWh electricity thereby offsetting 149,437t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Agricultural by-product and wood by-product are used as a feedstock to power the project.

The project got commissioned in March 2013.

The power generated from the project is sold to Northeast China Power Grid under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 186,480MWh.

Contractors involved

Qingdao Jieneng Steam Turbine Group was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company provided 1 unit of N30-8.83 Condensing Steam Turbine turbine with 30MW nameplate capacity.

Jinan Boiler Group supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 130TPH. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 540°C. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 92bar.Shandong Jinan Power Equipment Factory supplied the electric generator for the project.
