The project is currently owned by Engie Energia Peru with a stake of 61.77%.

It is a Gas Turbine power plant that is used for Reserve. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is diesel. In case of shortage of diesel the plant can also run on Natural Gas.
