Description
The project was developed by Zimbabwe Power. Zimbabwe Power and Sinohydro are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 64% and 36% respectively.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant that is used for Baseload. The fuel is procured from Hwange Colliery Company Ltd & Makomo and Coalbrick Mines.
