The AES and Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 70% and 30% respectively.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Citizens Gas.
