The project is co-owned by China General Nuclear Power and State Development and Investment, with their respective ownership stake of 23% each.

GE Renewable Energy supplied 4 electric generators for the Guangzhou PSP (Guangzhou I). The generator capacity is 333 MVA.

Voith Hydro Holding supplied 4 electric generators for the Guangzhou PSP (Guangzhou II).
