Description

The project was developed by China Guangdong Nuclear Power New Energy Offshore Wind Power (Shanwei). China General Nuclear Power and Guangdong Baolihua New Energy Stock are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.

The project generates 1,389,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 860,500t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project is currently active. The project construction commenced in 2019 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in November 2021.

Contractors involved

China Ming Yang Wind Power Group was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 91 units of MySE5.5MW turbines, each with 5.5MW nameplate capacity.
