Description

The project was developed by BP Wind Energy North America and Ridgeline Energy. The project is co-owned by BP Wind Energy North America and Leeward Renewable Energy, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The project generates 380,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 37,000 households.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Southern California Edison under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years from 2010. The contracted capacity is 90MW.

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 83 units of 1.5-82.5 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
