Description
The project is being developed by Orsted Wind Power North America and Starwood Energy Group Global. MEAG Munich Ergo AssetManagement and Skyline Renewables are currently owning the project.
The Electra Wind (Electra Wind I), will have 80.01m high towers.
Development status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in November 2016.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the Electra Wind (Electra Wind I) will be sold to BofA Securities under a power purchase agreement for a period of 13 years, starting from 2016.
Contractors involved
Electra Wind (Electra Wind I) will be equipped with GE Renewable Energy 2.3 MW-116 turbines. The phase consists of 100 turbines with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.
GE Renewable Energy is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the Electra Wind (Electra Wind I). The O&M tenure will likely be commencing from the year 2016.
