Description
The project was developed by POSCO Engineering & Construction and is currently owned by Korea East-West Power with a stake of 100%.
The project generates 223.3GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 73,000 households, offsetting 100,900t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Wood chips which is a kind of wood by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Siemens was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company provided 1 turbine with 30MW nameplate capacity.
