Description
The project is being developed by Choshi Offshore Wind Farm. Tokyo Electric Power Co Holdings and Orsted are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 300,000 households. The turbines will be mounted on fixed type foundations.
The wind power project consists of 200 turbines, each with 5MW nameplate capacity.
