Description
The project was developed by Orsted Taiwan. Orsted Taiwan, Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec and Others are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50%, 25% and 25% respectively.
The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of jacket foundations feature in the project.

The project is currently active. The project construction commenced in 2021 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in April 2024.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Taiwan Power under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.204kWh for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 605.2MW.
Contractors involved
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 75 units of SG 8.0-167 DD turbines, each with 8.069MW nameplate capacity.
Chin Fong Machine Industrial and CS Wind have supplied towers for the project.
