The project was developed by Innogy, Photosolar Medina 4, Synergia Energy Solutions and X-ELIO Energy. The project is currently owned by China Three Gorges with a stake of 100%.

CFS Alarcos Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 178 hectares.

The project generates 91,978MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 27,003 households, offsetting 59,784t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project consists of 147,000 modules.

The project got commissioned in December 2019.

Contractors involved

Huawei Technologies supplied its SUN2000 inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by Solar Steel Gonvarri Industries.
