About Raizen Energia

Raizen is a Brazilian joint venture between Royal Dutch Shell Plc and Cosan SA. Raizen has the capacity to produce over 2.2 billion liters of ethanol per year. It also has 23 mills with 900 MW of installed capacity to produce electric power from sugarcane bagasse. In addition, Raizen is resonsible to sell approximately 20 billion liters of fuels to the transportation and industry markets and to its network of over 4,500 service stations.
