Description

The project generates 242GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 224,000 households, offsetting 232,562t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The Concrete towers installed at the project site are 120m high.

The power generated from the project is sold to Bangalore Electricity Supply under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors involved
Nordex was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 26 units of AW-125/3000 turbines, each with 3MW nameplate capacity.
