Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Iran Water and Power Resources Development.

The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 4,800 million cubic meter. The gross head and net head of the project will be 289.3m and 228.5m respectively. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, is expected to be 6 in number. The penstock length will be 51m. The penstock diameter will be 6.5m. The project is expected to generate 3,000 GWh of electricity.
