Description

The project was developed by Enel Green Power Mexico S de RL de CV, Parque Amistad II, Parque Amistad III and Parque Amistad IV. Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, CKD Infraestructura Mexico, Others, Parque Amistad II, Parque Amistad III and Parque Amistad IV are currently owning the project.

The Tubular Steel towers installed at the Amistad Wind Farm (Amistad Wind Farm Phase-I), site are 84m high.

The Amistad Wind Farm (Amistad Wind Farm Phase-III), has 107.5m high towers.

The Amistad Wind Farm (Amistad Wind Farm Phase-IV), has 107.5m high towers.

Development status

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in 2019.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the Amistad Wind Farm (Amistad Wind Farm Phase-II) is sold to Comision Federal de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years. The contracted capacity is 100MW.

The power generated from the Amistad Wind Farm (Amistad Wind Farm Phase-III) is sold to Comision Federal de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years. The contracted capacity is 100MW.

The power generated from the Amistad Wind Farm (Amistad Wind Farm Phase-IV) is sold to Comision Federal de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years. The contracted capacity is 149MW.

Contractors involved

Maire Tecnimont was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Amistad Wind Farm (Amistad Wind Farm Phase-I).

Amistad Wind Farm (Amistad Wind Farm Phase-I) is equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SG 3.4-132 turbines. The phase consists of 57 turbines.

Amistad Wind Farm (Amistad Wind Farm Phase-II) is equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SG 3.4-132 turbines. The phase consists of 29 turbines.

Amistad Wind Farm (Amistad Wind Farm Phase-III) is equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SG 4.5-145 turbines. The phase consists of 24 turbines with 4.5MW nameplate capacity.

Amistad Wind Farm (Amistad Wind Farm Phase-IV) is equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SG 4.5-145 turbines. The phase consists of 36 turbines with 4.5MW nameplate capacity.

Enel Green Power Mexico S de RL de CV and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
