Description

The project is being developed by BESIX Group and Hitachi Zosen. The project is currently owned by BESIX Group.

The electricitiy generated from the plant will offset 350,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The process of landfill will be adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Landfill gas will be used as a feedstock to power the project.

Al Qusais Biogas Power Project (Al Qusais Biogas Power Project Phase II) will be equipped with INNIO Jenbacher JGS 620 engines. The phase consists of 6 engines.
