Description
Mitsui, The AES and Nebras Power Investment Management are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40%, 36% and 24% respectively.
It is a Internal combustion with Cogen power plant that is used for Peakload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is heavy fuel oil. In case of shortage of heavy fuel oil the plant can also run on Natural Gas.
Development status
The project got commissioned in July 2014.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to National Electric Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years, starting from 2014.
